Biography
Adriana is a medical doctor and global health researcher who graduated from Universitas Indonesia. Her research interest is health systems strengthening, particularly in the fields of tuberculosis and climate change.
She is the Regional Director of Global Health Focus Asia and the Research Coordinator for drug resistant-tuberculosis and diabetes studies at Tuberculosis Working Group, Universitas Padjadjaran, Indonesia.
She is also an Associate Editor at Public Health Challenges (Wiley). Recently, she was a team member in the government-led 2022 Health System Assessment of her province, home to 49 million population.
During the pandemic, she co-founded a global grassroots movement called #Students_Against_COVID (SAC) in 2020. Now a movement in 110+ countries, SAC was awarded the High Impact Program Award 2021 by the Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH) and Pulitzer Center.
