Global Health Course
This course introduced theories and concepts including current trends, issues, challenges and debates in global health to provide a critical understanding of the determinants that shape the current global health situation.
The course aimed at enhancing knowledge and understanding of current challenges in global health. Topics included in the course were particularly chosen to cover the important challenges the world faces today, and its impact at the local level.
These encompassed a wide range of topics and issues, from theories to policy and practice, including themes such as development, economics, global politics and equity.

This two-day course introduced theories and concepts including current trends, issues, challenges and debates in global health to provide a critical understanding of the determinants that shape the current global health situation and the important role expected of pharmacists to play.
Topics of focus included Health Systems and Medicines, Global Policy and Essential Medicines, Global Access to Medicines, and Careers in Global Health Pharmacy.
