Biography

Goodness Ogeyi Odey is a Public Health Practitioner and researcher working with organisations and institutions to advance health systems strengthening and equitable engagements/collaborations glocally.  She serves as the Director of Equity in Global health programs at GHF.

Her commitment to promoting Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) especially for young people led to her winning the prestigious International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP)2022 Trailblazer Award, named in recognition of the important leadership and innovation youth bring to family planning and SRHR. Currently, she is a Co-chair of the ICFP Power-shifting Subcommittee. 

In 2022, she got the prestigious Princess Diana Award, which is the highest accolade a young person can achieve for social action and a legacy of Princess Diana; in recognition of my outstanding contributions towards the achievement of health equity in Africa through advocacy,  research and sustainable interventions.

She has a budding career in global health, and as an early career researcher, she supports the work Global Health Focus (GHF),  does through research writing, leadership and mentoring women to actively be part of proffering evidence base that translates to sustainable development in our communities and globe.
